In 1939, four boys from the parish were studying for the priesthood. Kenneth Exner, William Mattson, Wilfrid Lavendier, and Alphonse Jacques. In addition, six young ladies from the parish had entered the convent. Sister Renee Verschragon, Arline Lavendier, Eva Jean Lavendier, Caller Lavendier, Bartolmes Rossert, and Camile Burm. Three of the sisters, and one of the men studying for priesthood had come from one family, the Lavendier family.
